Jellied Wild Rose Petals are made from the petals of the wild rose that grow across much of Canada. The wild rose has only five petals and as a result it takes a lot of time and patience to harvest enough to make our syrup. The result is a sweet rose-flavoured delight that is unrivalled. It is good on its own on bread, spread on crepes or pancakes, or added to cake mixes. Some chefs use it with lamb. Try spreading it on a wheel of brie just out of the oven or add a tablespoon to a fruit salad for its amazing bouquet.
