Wild Blueberries are Canada’s best known and most popular wild fruit. Wild blueberries have much more flavour than the fat, water-filled farmed berries sold in supermarkets. Our wild blueberries are hand-picked in the northern wilderness. We preserve them by slowly simmering them with organic sugar. They can be used as a spread, a desert topping, added to fruit salads, used in sauces, gravies and reductions with meats and fowl. They can also be used in tart fillings, mixed into muffin mixes, or to top a cheesecake. Or they can be eaten right out of the jar.
