Forbes Wild Foods offers a selection of pure syrups, some made from tree sap, others from flowers or fruit. All of them showcase the plant's flavour, not the sweetness of the syrup. The fruit and flower syrups are made with pure organic sugar, but nothing is added to the maple and birch syrups. They consist solely of concentrated sap.
Our syrups are very versatile and can be used on ice cream, in cakes and pie, on a fruit salad, or as a drink with soda water, bubbly or an alcohol, such as vodka or sparkling wine. Syrups such as elderberry and birch syrup can work wonders paired with savoury foods.
