Product Description

Wild Rose Petal Syrup is made from the five-petal wild rose that grows across much of Canada. It takes almost two hours for one person to pick half a pound of these delicate and fragrant petals. They produce a flavourful treat that can be used in baking by adding to a cake mix or drizzled on ice cream or yogurt. A tablespoon added to fruit salad gives it an unforgettable bouquet. It is also delicious on crepes or waffles.

  1. Floral Heaven! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 31st Jan 2018

I picked up the Wild Rose Petal Syrup with romantic notions in my head about flavouring foods with rose, however, I really had no idea what I was going to do with it. One day, I had the idea to add some to homemade raspberry ice pops, and the result was so wonderful! A hint of floral heightens raspberry's flavour. It also works beautifully with peach and strawberry ice pops. The frozen state did not seem to diminish the lovely flavour of rose. The taste of soft fruit and rose, especially in the middle of winter, is pure sunshine.
