Chanterelles
Chanterelles (Cantharellus cibarius) are one of the most popular and prolific wild mushrooms in Europe and North America. Easy to identify and easy to cook, their mild, nutty, almost apricot flavour makes them versatile. They are delicious simply sautéed in butter, or used in a cream sauce, and served with chicken or egg dishes. We also sell fresh wild chanterelles in the late summer and early fall.
