Sweet Fern Catkins
Sweet fern catkins are a lovely aromatic spice for baking and cocktails. With a mild nutmeg and angelica flavour, they work in a variety of dishes. Try grinding as them into a fine powder and using on top of a pina colada or in place of nutmeg. Or use sweet fern catkin tea as the base of an exotic simple syrup for drizzling over desserts.
