Labrador Tea - Rhododendron tomentosum and Rhododendron groenlandicum - marsh rosemary - is a lovely Northern evergreen shrub/herb that has a unique savoury flavour that is often used with meats or as a tea. Labrador tea has mild narcotic properties that have lead it to be used for relaxation and as a medicine. Used to flavour anything from stews, and meats to gin or even add it in hot drinks. Only a few leaves (4-6) should be consumed at any one time.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid consumption of Labrador tea.

I know there is no coincidence so as i begin to change my diet to a more healthier one I happened upon an article about Labrador Tea. I did a search and Forbes was one of the first links. I ordered my tea n some organic honey which arrived much quicker than I thought. I'm delighted with the flavour, ease n cost of this tea n I look forward to purchasing other products from Forbes going forward. Thank You for your dedication to providing quality products n exceptional service.

I used this herb in a traditional gruit ale recipe with Achillea millefolium and Myrica gale. I had difficulty finding a source for the sweet gale and wild rosemary until I found Forbes Wild Foods. I called when this item was listed 'out-of-stock,' found they in fact had it, and the gentleman I spoke to updated the website in seconds flat. The ale has turned out excellent. I'm grateful for the quality of the product, ethical harvesting practices, packaging, and service. Next time I'm brewing a gruit, I know where to order.
Cheers!
